If you ever struggle with the traditional Calc Scripts of Essbase in the Oracle EPM Cloud suite spend some time looking at the Custom Defined Functions such as @CalcMgr and @CalcMgrExcel. Often times these calculations are overlooked by traditional implementations because of the lack of literature and examples of them. However, these functions are perfect for complex date logic when date fields are used in EPBCS or any of the EPM tools.
